SCREW THE NORMAL LIFE!!! I'm going diving...

7 years on-air on national radio, 19 years of corporate bullshit, I've climbed the ladders always ONLY to find more stress, dissatisfaction and LESS time for what matters.

I packed up my bags in February 2009 with only 5 shirts and 4 pairs of shorts and became a PADI Instructor to live "THE SIMPLE LIFE".

THIS IS MY BLOG...

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED?

then there was dancing, dancing & more dancing...

and in the sea, live sea urchins...

and though a few spikes wouldn't do you much harm...I learnt that "few" meant 2 -3 spikes...not 20 plus spikes...

So the reaction came around 24 hours later (after I had gone diving the whole of the following day)...when:

  • All my joints started to ache terribly
  • Skin started to feel painful to touch
  • Shivering cold
  • Head was throbbing non-stop
  • Fever was at a record high
  • No appetite
  • Dizziness
  • Hard to even open my eyes by the following morning

So being rushed to the hospital was necessary (for the jabs & the meds).

What you should learn from this story: Do not remove your shoes over fear of getting them wet at your next Divemaster Party...
