CHAPTER 1 (and only)
(I honestly believe these are the few first words you must learn here)
Okay! So it's actually my first time in Thailand longer than 10 days...I've actually had to learn more than just "khob khoon krapp". I came here not really expecting to spend this much time...but to date I'm in my 5th month heading into the 6th...I'll be out of here within the next 30 days though...
Unfortunately, the people I hang out with here are mainly English speaking, it's not been a fast process learning the language...
Now because I look no different from the locals here...people at the local shops always talking to me in Thai hence the MOST IMPORTANT PHRASE for me here: Mai chai konn thai = I'm NOT thai.

*on the note of numbers, you'd find Thais ending their facebook messages with "55555", it took me a while to realize it was actually "haahaahaahaa"...
Damn this is taking a while...cant think of what more I know...but it's not the easiest language to learn I must admit...cos the alphabet is different...
This is it for lesson 1...I stand to be corrected by the many Thais reading this website...but this was not put on the blog from sitting with a teacher in front of me...just me sitting here on a rainy day, trying to recall what I have learnt...
"Tim" is written: ทิม
"scubaTIM" is written: สคูบ้าทิม
