SCREW THE NORMAL LIFE!!! I'm going diving...

7 years on-air on national radio, 19 years of corporate bullshit, I've climbed the ladders always ONLY to find more stress, dissatisfaction and LESS time for what matters.

I packed up my bags in February 2009 with only 5 shirts and 4 pairs of shorts and became a PADI Instructor to live "THE SIMPLE LIFE".

THIS IS MY BLOG...

scubaTIM's Choice (Feb/Mar 2011)

Unless you plan on using a strobe in the near future, this is the camera model I would highly recommend at the moment. Camera pricing is very reasonable and to take good pictures while being able to shoot full 1080HD videos, this baby can do it!

Also the price difference between the Canon Underwater Housing (not so robust) and an Ikelite Underwater Housing (better quality / more reliable) is around US$50 only...

All in, you'd be looking at an investment of approximately US$800 to be able to take good natural light photos & Full 1080HD Videos. A good all-in-one at an extremely affordable price.

Because I do not use a strobe, if I were to choose today between getting a G12, S95 and the Ixus 1000HS I think I'd probably opt for the cheapest package (Ixus1000HS) cos it's sufficient for the way I use my cameras.
